If, for whatever reason, you are dissatisfied with your Smart Deco purchase, please contact us without delay, in all cases within 14 days of delivery.
In cases where there is no fault on our behalf, you may:
1) Return the item(s) at your own cost within 7 days, unused and in the original packaging and we will refund your original bill in full
2) After 7 days, we will refund the cost of the purchase, minus shipping costs, if items are returned within 30 days.
To return Smarty Lamps lampshades please do the following:
The material / components we use to make the lampshades can be flat-packed. Therefore it is more economical for your item to be returned to us this way (and this might surprising but) so if you could dismantle the shade completely and pop the components in a jiffy bag type envelope please. Return by 2nd class Royal Mail.
In the unlikely event that you receive goods that are damaged or faulty, please contact us within 3 working days and we will arrange for a replacement or refund. Items returned after 7 days will be refunded minus the cost of shipping.
In all cases, it is advisable to contact us before sending items back.
Smart Deco is not responsible for damage incurred due to incorrect installation, for customers misunderstanding instructions, or for damage due to the use of bulbs of a higher wattage than recommended.
On receipt of the returned goods, Smart Deco will issue the relevant refund via the payment gateway used to process the transaction. Funds should usually deposited back onto your debit/credit card within 7 days.
