Cuba series
Inspired by a trip to Cuba, the paintings in this series draw upon the colourful and crumbling Colonial-style buildings and the 1950s cars that are in abundance. In the rural streets, people are seen sitting in their doorways. The Cuban series by British artist Jacqueline Hammond consists of small studies, panoramic landscapes, street scenes and portraits of characters met.
