ANY ENQUIRIES - Please leave an answerphone message. WHEN LEAVING A MESSAGE ON OUR LANDLINE PLEASE GIVE YOUR NAME as it is easier to recall than the order number thank you.
If, for whatever reason, you are dissatisfied with your Smart Deco purchase, please contact us without delay, in all cases within 14 days of delivery.
Occasionally due to the fragile nature of the Smarty Lamps range they get damaged in transit. PLEASE CHECK THE CONDITION OF YOUR LAMPSHADE BY OPENING THE BOX IN FRONT OF THEM PLEASE. IF DAMAGED, PLEASE REFUSE DELIVERY DUE TO DAMAGE AND MAKE SURE THE COURIER MAKES A NOTE OF THIS, THEN INFORM US BY EMAIL at smartdecostyle@gmail.com or text 07977486603 with name and tracking or postcode.
In cases where there is no fault on our behalf, you may:
1) Return the item(s) at your own cost within 14 days, either unused and in the original packaging or if its a Smarty Lamp please send back flatpacked as it is much less costly and we will refund your original bill in full
2) However, the packaging is also very expensive so if you have purchased an Elektra lampshade and wish to try another size, or it has been damaged, we can re-use the box which costs us over £25 in which case we will refund shipping up to £9.50
To return Smarty Lamps lampshades please do the following:
The material / components we use to make the lampshades can be flat-packed. Therefore it is more economical for your item to be returned to us this way (and this might surprising but) so if you could dismantle the shade completely and pop the components in a jiffy bag type envelope please. Return by 2nd class Royal Mail or Evri or Yodel not DPD
In the unlikely event that you receive goods that are damaged or faulty, please contact us within 3 working days and we will arrange for a replacement or refund. Items returned after 7 days will be refunded minus the cost of shipping.
In all cases, it is advisable to contact us before sending items back.
Smart Deco is not responsible for damage incurred due to incorrect installation, for customers misunderstanding instructions, or for damage due to the use of bulbs of a higher wattage than recommended.
On receipt of the returned goods, Smart Deco will issue the relevant refund via the payment gateway used to process the transaction. Funds should usually deposited back onto your debit/credit card within 7 days.
