Crafted from 40 pieces of interlocking polypropylene material that fit together to form a circular disc type shape, these cool lamp shades comprise of five faces between the top and bottom. The light gives off an ambient glow as the shades structure blocks any glare from the bare bulb. To install, the shade self-grips and hangs from a standard ceiling pendant cable, with no extra light fittings required.
Bulb Advice – use an energy saving bulb with a maximum of 40 watts. The brightness is measured in lumens, so a 12W CFL bulb or 10W LED bulb should suffice as they are as equivalent to a 60 watt (incandescent) old type of bulb in brightness (700+ lumens)

Please note: The narrow depth of this contemporary design means even the smallest bulbs may touch the shade, even when positioned correctly. There are small globe and candle bulbs that are low wattage but still with high lumen count (brightness) on the market.
